# 182 “quiet”

a license plate I saw

ME B RITE

my reaction: I would hate to get in a car accident with a person who had a license late ME B RITE. He or she would just keep repeating “Me b rite”. I would have to interject and say, “No. U B wrong.”

shark bites

I went to a seafood restaurant with my family. We rarely go out and when we do it’s not for seafood. I surveyed the appetizers and thought it would be a good idea to get the shark bites. Clever name but very insensitive if you’ve ever been bitten by a shark. I don’t think they were trying to be clever with the name shark bites but it sounds like they’re saying sharks bite. I’m sure they meant it like how they name small pieces of chicken chicken bites at some restaurants. Anyways most people don’t survive shark attacks but some do. That would be a traumatic experience if you were bitten by a shark and saw shark bites on a menu. I feel like you’d have to avoid every seafood restaurant if you were attacked by a shark.

clean mericals

Every commercial on Youtube is about a household cleaning product. I saw one commercial for laundry detergent. The commercial showed a business lady smelling her nice clean shirt while she was on the subway to work. She then smiled in satisfaction that her detergent did indeed work. She even said, “Yes! Still fresh!” I don’t think she has to worry about smelling good on a subway. You ever been on a subway? They don’t smell good. It smells like pee, alcohol, and body odor. There was no reason for this business woman to be insecure about how fresh her clothes smelled. She could’ve worn a dirty shirt from Goodwill and smelled better than most people on the subway.

library quiet

I love the library because it’s one of the only public places where people have to be quiet. I’m sick of going to public places and hearing loud noises. I hear enough of loud noises at my house. I think I just don’t like noise in general. I just want to go to a place where it’s quiet. I wish every public place adopted the library’s rule when it came to noise. I would love to go to a quiet grocery store. I would love to go to a sports game and it’s silent. Silence everyone and everything.

dad son argument

The coach of my son’s 6 year old soccer team is always getting into arguments with his son. It’s entertaining to watch. I feel bad for the coach though because he definitely looks stressed. He is a volunteer coach and his son is always getting angry or complaining about something. It’s too young for a 6 year old to be having an argument with his dad at that age when it comes to rec league soccer. It does make the soccer games that much more exciting. I can’t wait to go to see the added drama. I think to myself ‘when will this kid have a meltdown next?’. Also, it makes me look like a awesome parent.

sports pass

You ever want your sports team to lose so people you dislike who are fans of the same team will be mad. It’s the purest form of passive aggressiveness and I’m guilty of it. I’ll sacrifice a championship win just so I can enjoy knowing that someone I don’t like will be miserable. Obviously, I want my sports team to win but it’s also fun to know that a boss or co worker you don’t like will be sad if they lose. I shouldn’t be this way but passive aggressiveness is a disorder. I looked it up to see if it’s a real disorder. It’s not a major disorder. There is a lot worse disorders but it’s still a disorder. Passive-aggressive personality disorder (PAPD) causes people to express negative feelings and emotions subtly or passively rather than directly. To my defense passive aggressive is better than aggressive aggressive.

doogie howser moment

I love peacefulness. I love relaxing and calm environments. I just want to go to a quiet restaurant and enjoy shark bites. Sometimes no silence is good too. I do like a to see a good argument between a coach and his 6 year old son. My passive aggressive kicks in when I see them arguing on the sidelines. I get more involved in the drama than the game. I don’t care if we win. I enjoy the off court issues. Remember, Me B Rite.
